On March 28, 2023 the member companies of CiA (CAN in Automation) were awaited by an extensive day program at the CiA Member Day in Nuremberg. The organization had invited CAN experts from various industries to exchange their views on current developments and challenges in the CANbus field.
The predominant subject at the CiA Member Day was, of course, CAN XL, the third generation of the CAN Data Link Layer, for which CiA already provides extensive implementation and user guidelines as well as application notes.
At the subsequent Annual General Meeting, esd electronics again was elected to both of CiA’s Business and Technical Committees. It is our great pleasure that we can continue our work in these important specialist groups and contribute to CiA's strategic direction and the further development of CAN specifications.
