The new HS PCI Express Mini Card CAN-PCIeMiniHS/402 is extremely compact and fits easily into the smallest casing. It is equipped with up to
4 CAN FD interfaces which can be routed to the outside via adapters. For use in extreme ambient temperatures, we also manufacture the board as an extended temperature version.
The received CAN data is transferred directly to the main memory of the host via the integrated bus mastering unit (first-party DMA). At high data rates, this reduces the CPU load on the host system and the overall system latency.
Thanks to the support of MSI (Message Signaled Interrupts), the CAN-PCIeMiniHS/402 is ideally suited for use in hypervisor environments. In addition, the module supports high-resolution 64-bit hardware timestamps to enable high-precision reception and sending of CAN messages.
