Quasistandard für Mezzanine Cards in VME-Systemen
PMC und XMC sind der Quasistandard für Mezzanine Cards für VME-Systeme. esd PMC's und XMC's erweitern das System um ein Bus-Interfaces (CAN, CAN FD, EtherCAT, Ethernet) oder ein intelligentes Subsystem (z.B. XMC-CPU/2041). Darüber hinaus entwickelt esd kundenspezifische PMC's und XMC's. VME-Systeme ohne PMC-Slot können mittels esd VME-PMC-Caddy erweitert werden und PC-Systeme mittels PCIe-XPIMC-Carrier.
